Slipper clutch in ZX9R

WANTED!

i'm looking for a slipper clutch for the F2. and my knowledge of the clutch innards and the design of (slipper) clutches is too small to predict matching of other clutches.

Because the fins (multi-disc) of the K4 match, perhaps the slipper clutch could also fit into the F2??? or does the clutch of the zx12r fit into the zx9r (there is a slipper clutch available)???
Anybody who can help me or know anything about???

THX
Briese

best regards

The earlier 6R or RR uses the same clutch plates as the 9R so I would look into that.

I looked into this years ago and remember something coming up about the trans shaft on the 6 being longer than the 9's but I do know the 98/99 models had a longer shaft so that might work.

I never had the 6's clutch parts in front of me, but if I had everything I am sure I could figure something out.

I hope I was rude to you and you were insulted and now you are pissed.

okay. sounds good, because a friend will update his 636 with the slipper clutch of 6RR. There could i test.

I heard meantime, that there exist a slipper clutch for the Z1000 in aftermarket! and clutches of Z1000 and 9R are same.
But I cant find the manufacturer of the Z1000 slipper clutch!

I have almost completed putting a ZX10-08 slipper clutch into my 98 ZX9.
NOT easy and NOT anything I would advice but it can be done.
You have to split the ZX9 Clutch basket and use parts from the ZX10 Basket and also use a clutch cover from a 2010 Z1000 !!!!!!!!

Sounds way too difficult.

You guys know that the 6R has a slipper clutch and uses the same clutch plates as the 9R right?

Doesnt match without modifications. I try it.
Even between the 6RR and the 636 you can not easy change the clutch and have to change the ingoing shaft of the gearbox.

Well now its 2016 and I have been using my slipper clutch for 2 seasons on track and it has worked flawless. I didnt have to use the z1000 clutch cover.

Now I am parting my ZX9R and I have the slipper Clutch up for sale. Its complete with everything you need, bearings, outer and inner hub, friction plates, steel plates and release pin. 150 dollars + 50 dollars in freight.
