I went through a set of -014s last, now have Mich. Pilot POWER. I had to change my ride heigth because it wanted to go wide coming out of the apex. Dropped the front 5mm. I've found this to be common, switching tires & having to change set-up.

I liked the -014s. They had a nice secure feeling. The handling (steering response) was good. Traction was acceptable, but have used better DOT street tires. Found them to need a little warm-up before pushing. Not as bad as the older Dunlops, or Mich.Pilot.

The new M/POWER is awesome. Better cold, better warm. Very good handling. AND it looks like they'll last at least as long as the -014s. Nice tire.

Two new tires I might also try. There is a new street Dunlop that is supposed to work well. Less warm-up time. A newer model 208?? Somebody help me out here.

Metzler has a new tire, also. I have no issues w/the POWER, but I'm thinking of trying Metzlers new M-3 just because.

I'm running Metzler Rennsport RS1 and RS2's ATM. Will switch to Metzler Racetech's for the next set, as the Rennsports are superseded now. I usually get around 4500-5000 klms from a rear and just shy of 8000klms from a front. They do need a couple of Klms to warm up, but oncewarm are fine. The sharp shape has not effected stability at all. :)

I like my Diablos a lot. Just, straight-up Pirelli Diablo. They seem to last pretty long also.

But, I've heard nothing but good about Pilot Powers so I'll probably try those next.

Last season I used diablos and got in 4 track days and they were getting pretty worn.

this season I used mich pilot powers and they seem to be handling fine and not wearing near as much. only done 2 days this year. but i am alot faster this year than last.

but I do think the diablos just felt better for what that is worth. but they were also starting to come apart.
