prob a zx6r, and i have an '01 9r and a 2000 zr7 forks will fit, but the axle/rim/ is different, it has old style speedo cable. check on kawasaki.com and if the chrome part of the fork has the same part number as yours it will fit into your triples, you just may have to use the wheel/ brakes accordingly.

If you are wanting something that will just slide in your triple clamps then you will have to stick to the ZX9 or maybe the same year ZX6. They are an odd size ar 46mm. The 98/99/00/01 used the 300mm brake rotors so those years would use your stock wheel/brakes. The 01 up went to 320mm brakes

If you want to change to something like USD forks then something like the ZX7/12 or earlier ZX9 would go one with some machine work and use the entire front end.

here are some on ebay but not cheap. They usually turn up there and I ahve seen them go for 200 or less at times. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-K...35592QQitemZ4631434510QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V

Looking at ron ayers.com the upper and lower bearings from the 00-03 ZX7 are the same so I would look at a set of froks from that model as a start. If you get lucky the length of the steering stem might be the same length. You will need to take your triple clamp off and measure the length then find someone nice enough on ebay or a salvage yard check the ZX7 stem.

If there is a major differance you can press the 7 stem out and install the 9 stem after a machine smop makes the correct size sleeves if any are needed to match the stem to the clamps. The you will have steering stops, ign switch, gauge pod mounts..... ect.
Length of the forks will need to be close or it will throw the handling off as will a different offset between the stock clamps and the donor bikes clamps. The 7 also has the spedo drive on the F wheel but that can be replaced with either a spacer or just seal the cable opening with something. You can fit anything you want providing you have a friendly machinist to help you out with the swap.
