pilot screw adjustment?

i have an 01 zx9r dyno jet stage 1, k&n ,and muzzy slipon letting of the gas i hear popping and it feels bogged down wile holding at low rpm for any time. was told its running lean i should turn my pilot screw out 1 turn and try that, but i'm not sure how i don't see any adjustable screws but i know there is something under these little caps on the left sides of the carbs is that what i'm looking for? what should my adjustmend be set at? thanks for any help..
