Question Zx6 low RPM studder.

I have a 1992 zx6d. I bought it a little over a year ago, had it tuned, and it ran perfect tell 2 days ago. about 4 miles after getting gas (100% pure gas) it would hesitate, then pull like normal when getting on the throttle under 5,000 rpm. I thought I had picked up water in the gas, so I drained my tank and carbs, and put new gas in it. it did better at first but started showing the same signs while riding it home. Maybe there's still water in it, or maybe it's a week coil, or has something to do with the plugs an wires? Any help would be very much appreciated

A bank of plugs would be a good place to start.. Check the air filter while you are in there..

I already cleaned the air filter while I was at it, but that didn't help. I'll try plugs. The spark plugs are only a year old or so, probably have 5-6 thousand miles in them. How often should they need to be replaced?

they should be good but you should check them... if you are buring oil or running rich they could be fouled...
