Texlurch, I have been juggling with the decision to get my wife another '02 636 like she had before, or a 05/06 636, the 02 I lowered for her with muzzy lowering links - she's about 5'5" and a bit - worked well. I am thinking the 05/06 version would be better due to lower overall weight. How does your wife like hers and is it lowered enough? Have you heard of Helibars on these bikes?

Thanks,

Don.

Haven't heard of any Helibars but haven't looked either. She likes it a lot, and she is ok other than back peddling up a hill. So she just walks next to it when needed...

02: Mystic Black, PCUSB, Quickshifter, Hindle, Helibars, Corbin, BMC, Carbon Fiber, EBC rotors...

Thanks mate, I think I've found a '05 636 with the special ed. colour - platinum silver with red flames (she probably wouldn't have it without some red in it). Only done 9000 km (5,500 ml?) with micron can, pc, tint screen, chrome bar ends and other odds 'n' sods. We'll see!

Cheers,

Don.

Sounds good! I did slide the forks up an inch to match the rear.

Bari, that looks quite good! I like the colour scheme, gives it a certain quality about it!

Looks like an '02? My wife had a red/black '02, she still considers it the best bike she ever had.

Cheers,

Don.

I would have though it should go off normally, unless the flashing is indicating some kind of fault??

My son has my wife's old '06 636 but hasn't experienced the flashing oil light before.

In answer to your question. ..... Yes, you are the only one.

Now sell your toy and get yourself a real bike. ...12R!!

Or keep the 6.... its entirety up to you!

I'm not sure but I don't think your scooter has that level of sophistication.

I recommend not running the engine until you track down what is causing the oil warning lamp to flash. If you must run the engine do so with an appropriate oil pressure gauge installed.
