Lowering the '05 636

My friend's wife just bought a 2005 636 and he tried to lower it some. He said that the bike doesn't seem to have any adjustment in the rear because when he tried to lower the back with dogbones, the top portion of the rear shock would hit the swingarm. I'm supposed to take a look at it today but I know that it has the undertail exhaust. Does this bike have little to no adjustment in the rear because of the exhaust? Thanks!

Found out the problem. The bike has been rebuilt and they used a ZX-10 shock in the bike. It sits way too tall. They are ordering a shock to put in it.
