Speedo replacement. Need help

I'm changing my instrument panel on my 05 zx6. It stopped working for some reason. Now the used one that I will buy would it show it's milage or my original milage?

The used one will show the mileage of the bike it came from. If your old one still shows the mileage, take a picture of the display and a picture of the new one to document your actual mileage. If not people will have to take your word for it if and when you ever sell your bike.
