short arse on ZX14R

Id like some advice from forum members on how to lower my seat because at present i'm on tip toes an would prefer to have feet flat on the ground cheers Steve

You could also lower the bike by dropping the forks in the clamps, getting some different dogbones for the rear and a cut sidestand. Any shop that sells drag bike supplies can get you stuff for this. Seat lowering requires removal of the cover and foam reshaping with a tool similar to the old twin-blade electric carving knives our parents had in the 1970s. You must be really short; this is the lowest sportbike I've ever sat on myself. I'm ridiculously gangly though, my inseam is 34"; I can flat foot a GS BMW.

Have a local shop trim it down and recover it. Best bang for the buck.
