Question Akrapovic Header Question

I hope in time that I can return the help to others that I have gotten here.

Until such time I have another question.

For those who have installed the Akrapovic headers, there is a hole on the right side of the collector. In the instructions it says to remove the lambda sensor from the stock exhaust and install it into the new headers... only problem is I didn't have a sensor to remove in the first place.

This means I have a gaping, albeit stylish, round whole in my collector. What do I do with this??

I am so close to being done I can taste it!

Thanks guys.

Let me know if you need any computer assistance LOL.

Cool, I was expecting this answer but wanted to make sure... I didn't have this issue on my VTX LOL...

By any chance do you know the size (length/diameter) or where I can get one? I am assuming I dont want anything too long that would get into the exhaust flow. I have a PCv but didnt order the O2 sensor for it. Once I am done with these mods I don't see me really changing anything up. And with the local dyno guy doing the mapping for $50... its also a cost savings measure. :)

i have no clue as to what thread yours is but you could go to ace hardware and find a bolt to match then use that info to find a plug

Good luck finding the correct size bung.

My Akra EVO system did not come with one either.

I searched everywhere and ended up calling the US Akrapovic rep and he ordered me one.

I complained a little, and he sent it for free.

I called my dealer Indysuperbike.com and Dave from ISB called Akrapovic and they are sending me out a bung plug.

Woot. Now I just have to wait... boo.
