So ah...are you serious with this question?

Power-wise, it puts the 12R to pasture for sure....in stock form anyways. Style wise, the 12 still leads in my mind...but not by a very far margin any longer. I only like the 12 because it looks like a race bike, whereas, the ZZR models all look cool. This one tho, the pictures really don't do it justice. In person, it's a gorgeous bike, and just feels like home when you sit on it...

I know this much....I want one too.

i am saying,is this the bike that grabs the heart and soul. turns the 12 into a relic. the previous 14 didnt quite do it. but this bike is lookin like its got it all. cmg

Oh...

In that respect, that's an answer best coming from those who already have one.

It tugged a string or 2 just sitting on it and looking at it for me....and if I don't already have one, I'll be doing the test drive in June when they come back around...

Having ridden both the new zx14 is much easier to ride than a zx12, your right in the fact that the zx12 is much more of a race bike, & that goes for the riding position 2. Compared to the zzr12 I just came off the 14 is
Easier to ride, tips in better,suspension is better (design is 10 years younger)
Seat is more comfortable
More leg room (surprising)
lower seat height
generally a much better package imo.

Did I mention that its quite quick too!

Great looking bike!

Question about the Ventura rack... Are you using the same rack that was sold for the older ZX-14, or is this one a new part number? I just picked up my new 14R a couple of days ago, and would like to reuse the Ventura setup from my Busa if I can get by with only replacing the L-brackets.
