Not to be a wet blanket, but with the 2012 14R's going for $13-ish, you couldn't sell me a 2011 for ANYWHERE near $11K.
...but if I was trying to buy a 2011, I'd start with an offer of about $9k even and let them think about it for a few days. Dealers know they don't want the 2011's around with the numbers this 2012 is putting down. ...and for Pete's sake, when you talk to them about the '11, you have to convince them that you REALLY don't want an '11, and you're doing them a favor by taking it off their hands. ...(because you are!)
Disclaimer: I should probably add that salespeople usually hate me by the time our transaction is complete... because I'm a cheap SOB and I always think I can score the deal of the century. LOL
