Crack frame??????????

If the bike is a ZX-14, and the crack is by the rear motor mount, Kawasaki had a recall for that problem. That's not to say they won't try to get out of repairing it , since it was dropped, but it's worth a try.

He should look at the neck where the vin is located and look for a punch mark above the vin number. If it has a punch mark the frame was inspected and it probably didn't have any crack but if there is no punch this frame may not have been inspected and Kaw might fix it for him. He can also check with Kaw and they have a record of the vin if it has been checked. I wouldn't trade a bike without informing the buyer of the crack. Would you want to be the blame for a frame failure for someone riding a bike at high speed. I couldn't sleep at night.
