So I was surfing around the AVD site the other day and a guy with a ZX1400 Handle bar conversion posted a picture. I think I remember this from when I first got mine but then apparently forgot all about it right after. I am at the point that I really want..and need this type of set up. A simple 3/4 riser just ain't going to make it. LSL Superbike Handlebar Kits The spiegler set up has several issues and the price seems high at $479.00 I like the idea of the conversion using a super bike type handle bar because it makes it so user friendly down the road. There are a million different handle bar sizes out there so a person could really dial the fit in. If a person could buy this set up for half price, and it was easier to install would you be interested?? Gary |

I personally do not like these kits. But to each their own. I have a 1" riser and I find it very good. To be honest, the stock riding position was not that bad to begin with. | |

I have these bars and love them. I am older 60+ and these bars take the strain off my back, wrists and elbows. I also have them on my ZX12. You can use a variety of bars not just the ones that Spiegler sends.

The kit comes with everything you need and yes the when turned all the way to lock (which you only do in a parking lot) they will rub slightly but do no damage not even a scuff.
