Sorry... I'm just being stoopid, like GO....

This was my first 14... with the usual mods.
Fender elim by Muzzy
Lowering links, also Muzzy
Mini open pipe I fabricated.
EGTs on all cylinders to map the PC to perfection.
gearing changed.
airbox modification...
ZX-12R mirrors... direct fit, much less vibration as the stalks are shorter.

sold it... the red paint (and sound) made every cop in Tucson hunt me
when we were out on the road... never got a ticket....
The bitch was too fast to pull over....

Then I bought another... black....
Most of the same mods... except the pipes are there, but hollowed
out... not quite as loud as the full open. They work good, at idle and
low rpm, they are quiet... roll into it and they scream... more stealthy.
Might shoot them flat black...

Need to update the pic... lowered, fender elim added, heli risers (on both bikes)
ZX12 in the background is for backup.... but the 14 is the preferred ride.

Nothing special on my end, just a straight up ZX-14R.

Four touring mode I add tail and side bags that's about it.

2008 Blue

There's a picture of me on it in my buddies neighborhood about a week after I brought it home in my profile here. It was a cold day. You can see a little trace of snow still on the ground in the upper right hand corner of the picture.

Got a blue 07 , PC , Hard rock exhaust , pulled the flies , BMC filter . It makes some serious ponies (supposedley 190 at the wheel but i havent had it on a dyno yet) Might have to put the stock cans back on , apperently the police are going to have a big crack down on loud exhaust up here this summer (trucks, cars, bikes)

Whats the best option TRE or flies out?

Word up.

SAME AS ABOVE
2006 stock, PC3, Muzzy slip ons, Zumo 450, risers and peg lowers, and crappy ass corbin "ouch my butt" seat.... purchased by the former owner... thank God I didn't waste money on it.

I'll add a pic or two.. if you could fill me in on how to do that... :)

2009 Special Edition ZX14 Brock's Short Meg

I really enjoy my ZX14, I just recently sold a 2004 CBR1000rr and currently own a 2007 ZZR600. 9 out of 10 of my friends ride and we ofter switch off and share each others Bikes. My ZX14 is awsome. In October 2009 we rode from ATL to Key West and I have to say it handled like a dream. A month before that I rode from ATL to Deal's Gap Tennesse. She handled great in curves and was smooth on the long straights. I've owned several Motor Cycles in the 26 years I've been riding and none compare to the ZX14.

I would post a picture but have not figured out how.

...Don't care to much for the black or blue zx14's. I like the green. But there is something about a red zx14 with a pipe on it that really grabs my attention quickly. I must have one! Like the expression goes "sex on wheels".

corbin seat, heli bars, center stand, (yeah, gettin older), fab'd my own fender eliminator, new tires every freekin 3K mi., want some new pipes - not necessarily for more power, but the stockers are HUGE! Any suggestion for pipes that are still quiet, but smaller and lighter? Any truth to the rumors of smogging bikes here in CA in the near future?
