The 2009 ZX-14 just looks awesome in every color, wait and see this bike in person and you will love it. The black and burnt orange looks amazing, way better than any pic can make it look. The black with Monster Energy green looks wicked cool! I really loved the all green 14 because this reminds me of the good Kawasaki green they used on the 2000 ZX-12 and not that skittle green they used in later years. Kawi needs to go back to that green!

Ive been down on the 14 most of the year with the friggen frame deal. Probably would have sold it by now if you didn't have to give the damn things away....But that Orange/Black and the Green ohhhhh mama that gets the fire going. I could see a trade in in my future. When I bought my Orange Z1000 everybody said I got it because of the color....they might just be right..

I really love my 12, but I think I will wait until I get about 80,000 on her, which should be about 3 years from now and then, if I have saved all my pennies, I might be able to afford a 2009 ZX14.....

I have had the black / orange 14 get a lot of comments on it. The metallic Green is very sweet also.

the green's awesome, reminds me of a certain bike in my garage... :) did someone really buy a brand new zx14 for their first bike???? tell me you are kidding or you're truely mentally retarded... you REALLY shouldn't even buy a 600 for your first bike, i think i've seen a video of that kid before, he's pulling out of the dealership on his first brand new bike and blips the throttle out of the parking lot and boom there he goes down on the ground destroyed the brand new bike... good luck man, you should have started on a ninja 250, not a 1400...

All it takes is a little self control, you can die just as easily on any bike as your first, might as well get your last purchase with your first one. But coming from a zx-12 fan, I don't expect any less.

actually my 12r was my first bike and my first street bike experience. , it really has to do with self control . like it was said before any body can kill them selves on any machine

ima bout to hit 3 years rding and still take it easy have fun every once in a while , 3 years is still green.

I've been more than impressed w/ the 14's performance since the first time I've thrown a leg over one but, I don't care what paint scheme is sprayed on them..14's are still sinfully ugly.

I find them to be beautiful. It looks really good for stepping out of the cookie-cutter sportbike look.

I just bought this bike after selling my 2003 Hayabusa, I will never go back to the BUSA. Love this bike and the looks turns heads everywhere I go. Female magnet and constantly being challenged!!!

That pearl lime green gets my vote, that is fav color, too bad i couldn't afford the 09s, i had to settle for a used 06.

The orange and black is the way to go. I went to Extreme Powersports here in Fredericksburg and they had the SE Black and Orange for 09 I believe, stretched 3", chrome rims and the corbin seat brand new (Extreme likes to customize bikes and sell them for a hell of alot more than they put in) Anyway long story short, I asked the guy how much, he said 12,500 with the customizations but it was middle of December, ended up saying he would do it for $9500 out the door! Damnit, if only I had the money, I would have bought it.
