thanks for the comments.

here's the latest list:

A special thanks to numerous board members from here and other 14 forums who have hooked me up! Schnitz racing, Brock's, Muzzy, Spencer Cycles have all taken care of me in past year since I've gone bananas with my 14. Thank you for your customer support and excellent products!

got the shift light installed, and after pulling my head from my ass, I got it to work.

speedo healer installed too, haven't bothered setting it yet

Installed the shinko...hooks like a mofo.

installed 3 of the schnitz clutch springs...can't tell any difference.

ordered a 45t hardened sprocket from sprocket specialists....fuckin' expensive $82 shipped!

I need gearing. I need my mechanic to break the chain and take a couple links out. I installed the 16t and couldn't get the slack out of the chain. So instead of keeping the 16/42, I'll try 17/45 which is almost identical to the 16/42. I'd rather stick with the 17, 1st gear is just too damn quick with the 16.

Lots of really shitty weather lately. With any luck, I'll have my catalyst seat and airshifter installed for this weekend. the sprocket is gonna take about a week before it arrives though.

Barb, wanna trade a relatively new but crashed HP laptop for....oh....maybe a Carbon-fibre Clad one-of-a-many Buellages that you may have just sitting around collecting dust? I'll sweeten the pot by adding 5 bucks. Deal?

Yeah, last time I deal with a HelplessPeople.

Bought it like that. It looks much better now that it is not so damn bright. I've got a few friends that give me a lot of shit about it. LOL

I-25 has a SERIOUS speed trap about halfway between Cruces and Alb...luckily you missed that one. I've run from El Paso on the 10 up the 25 to the Silver City cut-off and averaged a true 160....that was pretty stupid, but damn it was FUN. 2 r1s, 2 busas, and 2 12s...when the buell caught up to us, he waded it up on the first corner. Very BAD day...for him and the guy who owned the buell. At least the knucklehead borrowed a helmet and a bike, or he'd be TOAST.

<The above post is purely fictional...of course.>

Spent the past few days knocking out some miles on the 14---got almost 12K miles now.

I'm stoked that I found out what the metal to metal clank noise I was getting....the frickin kickstand was banging away when I hit small low speed bumps. What a relief! I need to mount a small peice of rubber where its hitting the swingarm.

Tomorrow is game day & get drunk day! Morning ride and football for lunch!

No way!!! I gotta check mine... I was afraid my chain was catching a tooth
or something... a very annoying sound/feeling... so you think it was your
kickstand doing this??? I can't wait to try mine out tomorrow!!!

I hope that's it!!!!! Thanks dude...

Jere, that clank is the kickstand. a little rubber attached to the frame where it bumps should do the job. Haven't tried it yet, but I will when I get back.
