What zx14 parts fit on 01 zx12

Need some rotors and a master cylinder my 01 zx12. Will a zx14 rotors bolt on to the stock wheels. Will the 14 master cylinder be a better upgrade to two steel braided lines

Brake rotors are a no go. The master is a huge upgrade for the 12. You have to use the 14 lever. You may have clearance issues at full turn and you have to be creative with mounting the reservoir. If you are interested I have good used rotors I'd let go cheap as I have no use for them.

Zx14 front rotors will not fit. Larger center bore, different bolt pattern and wrong offset. I have 3 sets of good front zx12 rotors. Are you certain that your rotors are bad? I noticed you have several threads about front brakes. Your problem could be with other components.

The lines wouldn't give you a soft lever (might want to find a new shop). The stock brakes are a pain to fully bleed. Does it get stiff if you pump it? If so does it fade over time while parked? Try to zip-tie the lever down and leave it sit overnight.

Crack the banjo bolt at the master. Make sure no air there. Then bleed the longest line at the caliper. . Then the short line at the caliper.

sometimes no matter how much fluid you pump through it, you wont get all the air out unless you start at the master banjo. some even have a bleed screw here, but the ones that dont, just crack the bolt and bleed it that way.

also if the shop wants stock lines over braided, go somewhere else
