Either side of every banjo fitting should be a copper washer...?, connect some clear hose to bleed nipple and undo the bolt 1/2 turn ideally I place a ring spanner on the nipple first then the hose so you can easily open and close the nipple....then just top up the reservoir and start pumping the lever with the nipple open, you should see either a single air bubble or maybe just a rise in fluid level coming from the small hole in the reservoir which lets fluid into the cylinder...takes time but after 5 mins the fluid level should start dropping...top up as required. Once it starts coming through the hose you can then close the nipple and see if things start to firm up, then its just a matter of time opening the nipple whilst pulling the lever back then closing it before releasing it...so your displacing the air with fluid.

un do your bleed nipples and make sure they are clean and clear for fluid to flow through, its no good just pumping the lever as your system will be full of air, you need to do this as others have said ("1" bleed nipple with clear hose on it in a jar submersed in brake fluid with ring spanner on nipple "2" with the lever pulled in crack the bleed nipple a 1/2 turn air or fluid will flow into hose shut off the nipple all while holding the lever in "3" pump a few times and hold in again and crack nipple as step 2 you need to do this to replace the air with fluid by just pumping the lever you are just compressing the air in the line when you let the lever go the air pushes the fluid back into the reserveoir look at youtube vids on bleeding and good luck craig

if anything goes wrong check the battery

I have used a syringe full of fluid attached to the bleed nipple using clear hose crack the nipple and push the fluid and air up through into the MC you need to do this for both callipers good luck and check out those youtube vids they are really helpful Craig
