Handlebar help

How the he'll do you remove the handle. I put the Allen socket in there turn left and won't budge. The inside bolt will strip before it turns. Is there a secret to getting it off?

It's lock-tighted in. The last one I went to remove, I snapped my allen socket, so then I said fuck it and removed the whole top triple. Maybe try and get a nice heavy duty allen? Worst case, snap the bolt, remove handle, then that should release some tension on the bolt to where you can work it out?

I don't remember for sure, but I might have used some heat on it. Or I might have used an impact, shoot I can't remember.
