Yep or an allen key wrench should fit in there just fine. No need to buy the special kawasaki tool.

You do need an impact gun to remove/install the basket, and a good set of gloves to hold the basket while you're hitting it with the impact. Having a buddy hold it helps a bunch.

I just used a home made clutch holding tool & a 36mm long reach socket & big torque wrench. But impact gun would of been nice if I had one.

Once I blast the nut holding the basket on, I found a small screw and screw it into the hole in the sleeve that the basket rides around, once you remove the sleeve the basket comes right out, that's how I installed my Falicon without issue!

Hi lyhneDk:

The removal is fairly straight forward. An impact wrench will make it easier. You'll want to lock the front brakes as the bike make lurch forward. The alignment tool is simply an aid to get the gears on the pump and the basket to mate. I think i used a small flat tip screwdriver.

I'm not sure if there is a lock thing but the basket gear is spring loaded which I believe is to help the gears so when the gears are meshed they're under a bit of pressure to keep a good bite.
