Its quiet in here...

Whats happening?
Its been awfully quiet on the forums lately...
Why?
Sold your bikes?
Everyone using Facebook instead? Or have people given up on the new forum design?!

What projects are on the go these days?

I've been thinking the same Steve.
I would of thought everyone would of been busy taking there bike apart & putting back together, then asking , "I've got this thing left over, is it important, or can I just leave it out"?
I guess there still in the shed , taking them apart?

For Tech Questions Bike Model letters are more useful than saying the year, for uk owners anyway, as registration year is not always year of manufacturer model.

Looking forward to getting out on the bike. Been really busy helping my lad out building his extension across the rear and down the side of his house. Be glad to have a rest

Yes, we have not yet even approached our 2 months / year of riding season. When we do, between the road damage caused by ice over the winter, and watching out for moose on the road, we may even have one or two weekends worth riding....

I have the LSR bike up and running on the MS3x ecu that i tried a couple yrs ago and gave up on. sorted out a few noise issues and fixed some strange settings and it seems happy now. hopefully it behaves tuning on the dyno. if all goes to plan ill have some decent boost control and datalogging capabilities, so if conditions are nice at the track this yr Im hoping to pick up some speed over last yr. I would really like to crack into the 270 zone this summer. power management is quite critical to a good speed. you would have to be crazy to try a 500 hp bike without proper boost control, which is why i have only used about 430

The last 12 was made, what 10+ years ago? I think it is a combo of winter, and the age of this bike is showing.

Mine has been on Pitbull racing stands since mid October.

I have been fighting off the urge to go to the dark side (Harley). I'm starting to feel older than I am, and the idea of rolling around on a couch is becoming more and more appealing.

I guess I could keep my 12 and have the best of both worlds.

I second that notion Jay (but not on a hardley....more like a big bagger Vulcan of some breed). The older I get, the more I want a couch for them good, long rides....cruise control and floor boards....heel to toe shifter....stereo...the works. That would be the adventure wagon. Keep the 12 around for that hot Saturday afternoon with the Ms. down to the lakes or sonething....and the occasional solo crack of the whip down the interstate.

I think the site fell off mostly due to the drastic changes made by the owners. In their attempt to update it, they forgot that most of the users here are fairly mature in age, and like to keep it simple, and don't much care for drastic change like done here. Motto being...if it ain't broke don't fix it....but maybe turbo it.......

The site now has massive compatibility issues.
It's hard to view, post log in and many features are full of bugs . After a while all those other than the faithful give up.
Please fix it.

traffic on bikeland is almost dead, sh.org has limited activity too and that deals with a current bike. i think most of the traffic is on facebook now.
