My ZX12R has developed a leak in the fuel rail that I tried unsuccessfully to solve by tightening the screw where the leak started. Now I guess I need to pull it off the bike and change a gasket i suppose. I was wondering if anyone in here has taken theirs off and how difficult a job is it? There isn't a lot of room under there I noticed but I'm willing to do it vs just take it to a shop.
Success!!! It wasn't too difficult the hardest part was reaching the 3rd clamp with the 3mm allen bolt. I ended up using a car antenna with tape and a 3mm end bit but lost the screw when it dropped out. I bought a new set of clamps and an Oring for about 30$ shipped and put that 3rd clamp in 180 degrees reversed so i could get to it easier the next time. It was tough to get that O-ring as its discontinued but I found one on ebay. No more fuel leak and on to riding!
