Are there any options for replacing the stock rod bolts with ones that can be installed with the stretch method or is it new OEM bolts or complete aftermarket rods with bolts?

Also Ive seen on here a post with an epoxy/salt filled cylinder block (for strength) but now I cant find it, like a lot of old posts, anybody know why?

just make a couple small dimples in the bolt so you can check before and after if you want to measure stretch.

it has yet to be tested so theres no how to for what works and what doesnt yet.

Was that an 87 or 86mm bore. Scott, I actually thought it was a post of yours describing a block you had potted. Which leads to the question - is it for drag use only or will it cool adequately on the road. I am not absolutely sure I need it, but for $70 and round, better sealing bores if it cools properly....Im game.

2mm big bore 85mm. you can only go to 86 on the oem block. 87s are billet and typically offset if you want them to live.

i used cement on a drag bike (moroso block filler) and filled 3/4 of it. it didnt cool well.
