There goes Tokyo!!!!!

GO GO Godzilla!!!

There is my personal attempt at sensational Kawasaki build up... What do you think? LOL

I hate the H2R....and I hate KZScott....

I hate the h2r because it is so badass in my opinion. The looks of the race version hav completely grown on me. And of course the power!!!

KZScott I actually love the young man and he's like a brother. But the crazy kid has filled me with visions of delusions of boost sickness!!!! I hate you Scott....

With that said, I'm going to try and "squeeze" alittle more power into my 1199 street bike. Thought I would post up the work. Of course this will be a lot easier to do since we have a resident turbo12 fabricating enthusiast amongst us.
I'm looking forward to the learning curve.

Picked up some spare parts. One of the pistons had broken ring lands. I think they were broke when the engine was rebuilt. Scuffed up #4 pretty good.

Some tasty axe work in that Blue Oyster Cult tune.

Humble Pie.

edit: it was Spectres... not Humble Pie.

Are you going to run low comp forged pistons and good rods Cmg ??

Is that Scott's street turbo block and pistons buy any chance ?

This is going to be very interesting to see !

WOW cool!

So you'll have "The Hulk"... aka record setting N.A. 1427 race bike...

Then your red 1199cc (200rwhp NA) street bike, with boost, which I assume will then be a 300hp "Street" bike?!?

Do you have any other ZX12R's?? Red red 1199cc was your track (roadrace) bike turned street/LSR bike right?

Hagrid, lov that old tune...

Maxumis, when the pistons get here, I'll get some pics. But yes, going to use some good stuff.

Hibs, that's correct. My red A1. The 12 is a amazing machine. This bike handled the street chores, road raced and landspeed. Problem is, you hang around Scott for a few minutes and the resolve to stay NA is severely weakened...then the H2R shows up and boom...I'm stricken!!!! Lol

Sooo...with Scott doing really awesome at RCC and his passion for the 12 I thought I should get this done. I got a feeling that he's going to be busier than a cat on a hot tin roof in the near future, and the window for "custom" zx12 turbo parts will get tight. At least through someone I know and trust.

seeing how i robbed the system i built for Henry to put on my street bike, i thought it was only fair to let him use a system i made back in nb, but never got a chance to quite finish or test.

Comp Turbo, CT4 6265 with billet wheel. regular bearing, nothing too fancy or pricy

i have a feeling that this will spool quite well down low even though its a .82 ar hotside as its a divided t3 inlet with a pulse paired header. i feel like my skill level has gone up a fair bit having worked at RCC for a little over a yr now, so if I want a new system ill just make one, and i kinda am working on a new system for lsr anyway lol

test fit on the street bike

time to get the race bike frame dusted off for welding :P

Now dont go blaming poor ole Scott for it all. You got the devil in your eyes too. There I was minding my own beeswax when this CMG guy goes and sells me muzzy race cams for next to nothing and `gives me a muzzy stealth kit for my my STREET bike. You guys are both crazy. I would'nt have it any other way. I cant even guess at the power that red beauty will make. That poor h2 or h2r does'nt stand a chance. Redsled.

The new design is pretty badass!!! Love the onion welds. Looks real compact.

So looking at the block, we can see the top is wide open. No webbing connecting the cylinders to the block housing. Just a open water jacket. This oem block is strong enough for a lot of power. Billet block is out of the question. Street bike. Big $$$. But I do want more strength. I think the engine will be more durable if this were remedied.

#4 was damaged and needs to be refinished. So I decided on a small experiment. After the welding was done, the block warped .006"
I wanted to bolt it down, but my friend is extremely busy so I didn't.
Dan didn't think it would hav helped anyway. He didn't charge me anything and welding cast aluminum that probably has anti freeze contamination...is what it is.
Millineum Tech thinks they will have no problem getting everything square. A replate too.

Scott has some ideas that the tuner cars use, that work. Not as aggressive as this. I'll let him explain the trick if he wants to.

ill be doing the road salt and jb weld trick on my street bike when i turn up the boost. the oem block is plenty strong for 300+ hp(where it was at about 12-13 psi), but ive been told that 19 psi is about the safe limit, which should be around 400 hp. import car guys will fill the water jacket up with salt, leaving a small portion of the top open. clean the salt residue off with a few q tips, and then pour in the epoxy. on the bike i would probly do 1/2 in or so. let it cure. lay on a head gasket, mark the coolant holes, drill out the epoxy in those places, wash out the salt. ghetto fab closed deck, no warping or machining needed. probly not quite as strong as real metal, but im guessing 25-27 psi would be no problem on an epoxied block done in that way. If Henrys welded block comes back from millennium flat and with new bores i bet it would take even more boost. he likes to go over kill now and then lol. that turbo hes putting on is rated for 700 hp!!! :P
