The bike's always been a dog at low revs. I got the PC3 mapped a few years ago probably with the TPS out. Now the TPS is better, I suspected the PC3 of wasting my fuel. With it unplugged the original ECU has done 110 - 120 miles on a tank. Not too much right hand but the 90 I got the other day was just at 85-90 mph on the A11,M11,A120. Not much sport to be had there.
So I recon its better without the PC3 but early days for a real conclusion.

Hey up shep, with mine I've put "0" in my map up to 3000rpm & my dyno'd map for the rest. Seemed to of worked, sorted the rough running out low down anyway.
But could do with Yorkie fetching his TPS wonder tool again, just to check if it's gone out again as I had my battery off & not sure if it's right?

So I had my 12 run a dyno test. I'm quite happy with the results, 178.4 horsepower and 130.3 newtons on my rear wheel. Does seem to puff a bit of oily smoke and not sure where that's coming from... I've rebuild the engine this winter and I've put 3500 km since then.

I finally changed my K and N air filters.. here are the old ones had to use pliers and a flathead screwdriver to pry them out.. I also installed a manual cam chain tensioner.. by the looked of stock tensioner I may need a timing chain soon

Just had some Avon 3d ultras fitted to loose wheels, 120/70 front + 200/50 rear, £156. Well pleased.

There normally up in the £230+ area, but was told Avon are bringing out something new next week???

Do I wait and see what they are, or get another cheap set ?????

For Tech Questions Bike Model letters are more useful than saying the year, for uk owners anyway, as registration year is not always year of manufacturer model.
