when do you start

what time of year do you normally bring out your 1200 and start your riding season

Any time above 59 degrees in the morning. Just my number. Have ridden twice this year so far.

65 is the magic number for me.......

I never fully put it up, the weather is up and down. Last year I was ridin in February, this winter I've ridden in every month but December. A good rain to get the salt off the roads followed by a nice day above 40F and I'm out.

My official riding season starts April 1st when I get my license reinstated though. The 12 and my right wrist caused the troopers to shut down the express way.

I ride all year round. So far my coldest morning here in DE was about 17°F (if I recall correctly). The only weather I will not ride in is snow, sleet or hail. Otherwise I'm riding

The problem with having balls of steel is sometimes steel gets really really cold

Dropped the left side fairing off yesterday and did an oil & filter change, will be taxing her probably in March...long as it don't snow lol.

One night my gas cap literally froze shut... ... not a good night

Never ride in ice or snow on the 12r otherwise pretty much when the need takes hold out she comes, road legal all year round

If they made snow tires... I may make an exception...

Does any body have the number for a good "clinic" all this talk of the 12 snuggled up in the garage is giving me withdrawal symptoms !!! I have just had to go and have a talk to her and a stroke with the polish !! Eeek got it bad

I was in the workshop tinkering with the bike looking at the sunshine today. I was waiting for a delivery of firedoors which didn't show until 10 to 5. Utter bastards.
Got to work til the weekend now.
