Heres the picture, the red line mark the hairline crack, just perfect around the weld. The green circle indicate the bolt of the engine support that is loose, about .5 mm between frame and collar.

I want to repair it just because no budget now to put in a new frame.Any advice on the alloy used on zx12r frames and or type of welding material would help.I dont buy the bike brand new and it looks like the engine was removed before for some reason I dont know. What can cause this type of failure on this frame,The bike dosent look like have an accident before.

This crack not afect the feeling of the bike in any aspect,I'm sure a good welder put this frame to rock again.

I'm afraid that I don't know the specfics, but I can tell you that repair is possible.

The ZX-14 had some issues with the frames cracking in a similar location, and several people had competent welders make the repair.

On that note, the damage on the 14 was caused by improper tightening of the motor mount adjusting collars. I would suspect that the same has happened to your frame.

Is it on the weld itself or more medial, where the edge of the weld meets the frame?

The bike is fully assambled but the section I can see is crack just in the middle of the welds(just the welds are in halves).
