I have an extra you can have in a week. It just an LED taillight though, no turn signals.

This was the best integrated one when I was looking round - easy fit. Clear Alternatives: Ninja ZX-12R |

I heard the LED's go through vibration ?, mine are just the clear lens type with the LED bulbs fitted into the standard bulb holders. Been fine over the last 12 months.

Clear Alternatives is the way to go good quality i use their led one and i have a mototek undertail for the signals on my 00 zx12r but if price is an issue alot of cheap ones on ebay i see em all the time myself id rather have the quality so i just have to do it once their lights plug right up to the stock connectors then just bolt it back up that easy hope that helps!! heres a pic so u can get a idea what the Clear Alternatives Tailight looks like on my zx12r ![]() ![]() BTW i like the signals flashing at a faster speed makes the idiots on the road see me better Last edited by XENO; 11-19-2009 at 11:01 AM.

Thanks for all the input. I will look into the Clear Alternatives Tailight. I heard Napa has a heavy duty flasher that will regulate the signals. Same with Cycle Gear. Did you guys use a flasher or did your tailight have the resistirs? I'll put pics of my bike up when I figure it out..

EL12 relay is the way to go no resistors anywhere in my setup besides they get warm to hot and its a PIA to wire in 4 of them they are not small. all thats needed is the Tridon EL12 relay another source here from ACE Hardware with part number on link page $8.62 each Link -----> IMPERIAL 80106-4 TRIDON ELECTRONIC TWO PRONG FLASHER EL12 ![]() ![]() -------------6. Turn Signal Relay (((((((((((((((((((((((((((( Load side of relay is usually marked with an X !!! )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) ) (((((((((((((((((((((((((((( Orange Wire = Load!! )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) ) (((((((((((((((((((((((((((( Brown Yellow stripe Wire connect to prong not marked Load!!!! )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) ) You will need to cut the original connector off and solder on 2 spade connectors to plug into new relay if you cant or don't know how to solder and heat shrink the wires bring the battery tray to someone who does know how to once done you don't want to have a loose connection IMHO just crimping the connectors on isn't doing the job right hope this helps everyone thinking about doing this Last edited by slykittycat; 11-19-2009 at 08:02 AM.

Awesome! I will go pick one up. All I need now is a manual to figure out where everything is on this bike!
