Dunlop Sport Qualifier II's

Hiya all,

Thought id give you a little report on Qaulifier II's.

I was give as set by dunlop (Would not buy any..lol) and was asked to do a trackday at Donnighton park racetrack (full gp) to test them out.
Did a total of 2hours tracktime through out the day and gave them the full 185bhp workout.
Now when i found out i was testing these tyres out i wasnt that keen because im a total 2ct's fan but hey they were free..!!. Gees, how suprised and gobsmacked i was to find out they are as good as 2ct's. The grip and feel of these tyres are fantastic, the bike felt totally planted in corners and fast cornering at about 100mph+ felt great. Under heavy braking into corners the front felt safe with no give at all, Over all they get very sticky and im know this test was on a track but since the test i have been out on normal roads and the tyres felt pretty much the same and i think can cope well in most situations.

Now as a total 2ct's fan i am now confused ...lol but i would totally recommend these tyres to anyone.... well done dunlop...

hi,
well going around the track i had my pegs and knee grinding and to be honest im no valentino rossi.
Dunlop insisted i had stock size tyres and the front has less of a strip around it (sorry no pix yet). I have a set of 2ct's and a recent trip to the nurburg ring in germany resulted in no unused strips around the tyres but my rear 2ct is a 190/50 so guess thats why.

thats sort of what i wanted to know, i get my knee down a fair bit, but i have about 5mm spare on my 200 tyre, and a lot more on the front.
