Slow night at work plus machine tools = motorcycle parts

Was slow tonight so I whipped out a set of front axle sliders. Still need to order some stainless threaded rod for the slider as the carbon steel one I used will rust.

Also made some stainless bolts and aluminum washers for my muffler bracket.

Hey Chuck, those look very nice Bro!!! Great job, as usual, I think you're starting to make a name for yourself here with fab and mods! Two thumbs up!

BTW, check to see if there is a macro function on your camera when taking extreme close ups...the icon for macro looks like a little flower or other. :)

Thanks guys.
My machining skills are much better than my camera skills that's for sure.

I will get some new pic (and hopefully better) of the bike with the new goodies next week. The rest of my stuff should be here by wed.

I only cut the flat carbon fiber stock and drilled it. Purchased it from mcmaster/carr. The main muffler bracket is from akrapovic and off my old ZX9 which is why it is a little short and needed the extension.

There is this how too on covering some stock parts but it is all I have seen.

Ya gotta respect a man that not only works on his own bike, but actually fabricates the parts as well!
