| Slow night at work plus machine tools = motorcycle parts
Was slow tonight so I whipped out a set of front axle sliders. Still need to order some stainless threaded rod for the slider as the carbon steel one I used will rust. Also made some stainless bolts and aluminum washers for my muffler bracket. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hey Chuck, those look very nice Bro!!! Great job, as usual, I think you're starting to make a name for yourself here with fab and mods! Two thumbs up! BTW, check to see if there is a macro function on your camera when taking extreme close ups...the icon for macro looks like a little flower or other. :)

Thanks guys. My machining skills are much better than my camera skills that's for sure. ![]() I will get some new pic (and hopefully better) of the bike with the new goodies next week. The rest of my stuff should be here by wed.

Cool! What ever you make for your bike is good! Do you have a guide or something relative on how to make and use carbon fiber?? |

I only cut the flat carbon fiber stock and drilled it. Purchased it from mcmaster/carr. The main muffler bracket is from akrapovic and off my old ZX9 which is why it is a little short and needed the extension. There is this how too on covering some stock parts but it is all I have seen. Ya gotta respect a man that not only works on his own bike, but actually fabricates the parts as well!
