I paid $1200 for those wheels used in chrome not polished. I think a set of polished went for $800 sometime last fall in here.

IIRC those wheels weigh more than the stockers.

I used to have the RC Sebrings on my 12 until I switched it up and went with a fat tire. They were great wheels except mine were chrome and they started to chip (cheap chrome job). I think you would be happy with them. I don't have any good pics with the wheels on the bike though.

Nice bike.... ( gotta get exhaust though - lol )

Hey, who makes the wire mesh inserts on the sides / bottom of your fairing?
( yeah I know I could make some from scratch, but I have too damn many things "to do" already...)

Thanks,
D

I did em on my katana. They arent made, you make em. Home depot or lowes, its actually gutter mesh. What this guy didnt do was paint his, he should have painted em. Attach em with an epoxy, like liquid nail. simple, cheap and easy. Just wear gloves when you cut the mesh or u might lose a lot of blood, ask me how I know. Gutter mesh, tin snips and an epoxy total cost?? 20 bucks. These arent mine but are from the thread where I stole the idea from.

Yup, I've been doing that same trick with the gutter mesh for about 7 years now. Hehehehe. I've made insert pieces out of the stuff for at least 4 of my bikes I've had in that time, including the 12. Making them for the 12 was a bit of a pain in the ass though due to the big hoses towards the top of the big side openings. I don't usually paint mine, FWIW, as silver is usually the contrasting color that I want.

I contemplated the mesh mod for my 12, but I agree the hoses etc dont make it appear easy. I might do it one day if I have the plastics off. I think black would look good with my green monster.

I like black chrome, but I've never heard of it as a powder-coated finish. Are you sure the wheel pictured is a POWDER-COATED finish, and not real black chrome??? That just looks too good to be powder-coat to me. Hope I'm wrong though.
