1/8 Mile Times...

Just like the title says, I'd like to see some 1/8 mile times if you don't mind sharing (I know times are top secret to some).

The only tracks I have access to in my area are 1/8 and it seems most of you guys run on 1/4. Also, could you tell me if your bikes are modified, because mine is bone stock for now and I'd like to get some idea of a comparison.

I ran my first three passes on the 12R the other night. First passes EVER on a bike. I know I have quite a bit to learn about it. I know I will be worlds faster once I get the launch down a little better.

Thanks,
Max

I got an eighth mile track an hour away and I'm dying to go but I'm hard on a bike anyway and I'm ascared I'll break it. I like ridin it too much but it prolly wouldn't take much to stage me up....

I ran a 7.93 at 112mph.

Best of three passes. I'm thinkin I can do way better(mph is high), but I didn't think it was too bad for my first time on the track with the bike. I know my launch is far from ideal, I'm rollin it way to far out.

6.8s bone stock 1st pass, about the same mph.

Last pass was 6.2s @ 123 lowered, geared, piped, pc3, race filter, lightened bike and some seat time, all hand clutch footshifting.

OK, so I sucked..... But not too horribly bad Though it makes me happy to know the bike has the potential, I just need more seat time to get this thing dialed in, or I should say get me dialed in. I'm sure the fact that I'm 6'5'' 220lbs dosent help either(making excuses).

Thanks,

EDIT: What kind of 60 foot times should I be looking for, as of now mine are all 2sec+.

With my last bike, I had just a 17t sprocket, strapped front, and lowered rear. I was able to launch at about 7k rpm, pulling a 1.67 sixty time. The full quarter time is in my sig. That was at 1300ft elevation and in the middle of the summer. I forget what the 1/8th time was, but pretty sure it was in the 6s.

That is faster than anyone that runs at the track I go to. The "Outlaw Bike" class is all dropped/streched/air-shifted Busa's and 14's. Most all of them are spraying and one of the Busa's is turbo. One or two of them MIGHT have dipped into the fives, but not that I saw. You need to come over here an clean up shop.

oops, 118 mph, not 112...I'll have to rummage through the old slips. I think 112 was either Warp12 or a CBR 1000. I weigh 120 give or take (or take).
