Shortening the end can.(Akra)

do i have to re tune the PC3 after i shorten the end can? as in those Moto GP shorty style.i using a Akra ss/cf full system now.

I have the same system on my 12. Can't imagine any advantage to a short can. Be aware that the akra core tapers.
