Exhaust question (advice on looks and power)

Has anyone done a short pipe on their bike? I mean something like a VooDoo pipe or Hotbodies Racing. I am looking to do this on my bike and wondering how it will look and how it will perform. I am looking to add one to an aftermarket header and use a PC3usb to tune it.

Is what I'm planning gonna kill my power? I'm not looking to necessarily make more power, but I certainly don't want to lose any. I figure using an aftermarket header will be better than the stock one.

Any advice or pics?

Thanks, All.

These bikes can be a bit picky with exhausts. Good luck with your experiment!

not many people interested in making max power go with the ankle-burner exhaust. You could always try, but you'll probably end up neutering your bike below 8k rpm. However, if you're only interested in annoying the neighbors or riding past club lines at 3am, you'll be just fine!

So how does the bike run with this set-up? Any driveability issues?

Bass -

Jere (238mph) ran a 12 with a shorty pipe for a long time... You could ping or PM him for some input...

I can't comment on what it does to the power, but it will reduce the number of riding buds willing to ride on your right or immediately behind you... Freekin' loud!!

no driveablity issuses im only on it for 9 1/12 secs at a time. I also join the world with the 2000-25000 rpm LAG while driving up return road. errrrr

I have to take the exhaust off bike and put on ebay. i dont know what they are worth. im trying to get 600 for both together. both are muzzy full racing exhausts. i need to get the one off my bike(the nicer one) The can is neatly cut in half and the muzzy tin label has been put back on very nice. I want at least 325- 400 bucks for that and they other is regular and im taking highest bid. give me a day or two.
