Hello, My son is in metal shop class and he said he has a choice of projects. He has seen the pitbull stands and would like to make his pops one as a project. He seems ready to go all he needs is the layout and dimensions could someone help us out here? Thanks in advance! |

Don't copy one of those... design something!!!! Challenge him to do something better... not just build the same old shit! That could be a cool project.... |

For God's sake make sure it uses bobbins. I had one that just went under the swing arm (used it for years on my R1) But it just couldn't handle the weight of the 12R. | |

im sorry for time delay...and for my substandard ability to draw...but I have limited resources and limited knowledge...I hope this helps in the way of a rough idea.. you will have to obtain the width but that should be very easy... Keep in mind this is my home built stuff it is by far not a great design and could easily be improved |

spools and wheels are delrin.....because it was laying around wheels are counter bored for a common fafnir inside and outside bearing my welding looks like a bulls ass sewn with a log chain but it holds well.......I hope ....I got stuff flying around with no curb at 10000 ft :) |
