OK,firstly I'll apologize if the answer to this question is in here somewhere, but I search and couldn't find a definitive answer :? .
I was given a really nice set of 07 ZX14 fork legs and want to put them on my 02 12. The major point of the mod is to have radial brakes.
I want to use my stock front wheel, brake rotors and triples. I also have a set of 04 ZX12R calipers that I intend to use. I know I'm going to have to space the calipers out and that the 12 fender won't work with the 14 fork.
I also have the 14 axle-is it compatible with the 12 wheel?
And,finally to the suspension gurus, have been on the RaceTech site and am in a quandry as to the needed spring weight, oil weight and level. Figure a "Street" spring for a 274lbs( )rider.
Thanks in advance!

Its a real job to put use the ZX12R front wheel with the ZX14 forks. The hub width on the ZX12R wheel is too wide and will need to be machined narrower. You will also have to machine your own spacers Also the brake discs are dished and will be to wide to fit inside the brake calipers. Its prettymuch a total pita to try and do. You will also need to use both upper and lower triple clamps and press the steering stem from the ZX12R into the lower ZX14 triple clamp. Not worth the effort as far as I can see, you would be better of to use the radial fork set up off a ZX12R.
