My bike has always ran good and strong.I had replaced the oil pan gasket due to a oil leak.Well after about 400 miles later she started knocking.I did notice a couple of things the bike was doing that it never did before the gasket change.It would go into 1st gear real heavy made a loud clunk sound and it would leak coolent from the overflow but the bike would not be running hot?Well im thinking it might be the #3 rod bearing that went.Anyone have any success installing new bearings and what are the chances of the crank being thrashed out,I heard you cant have them reconditioned you have to spend alot to get a new one.Its a real nice bike and i would like to fix it rather than give it away on ebay.Thanks for any feedback.
