Fuel light to gauge modification

Hello all. I have a 1991 ZX11 with the stock fuel level sensor and dash light. I'd really like to convert this to a fuel gauge. Have any of you already done this? All information appreciated.

Anything is possible, but it would be very expensive. Don't you just hate all those blinking red lights? You could strap on a quart can of gas just for emergencies.
