new zx11 owner

I just wanted to say hello to the members of this Kawasaki forum. I am the new owner of a 94 zx11 and am new to the forum as well. I have had many bikes and have been riding for forty years. Some of my most favorite bikes owned have been kawasakis including: H1 500, kx 500, I guess I have a thing for big and mean. My newest bike fits right in.

Welcome to the site. I saw one up close for the first time last summer. I fell in Love with the dark burgandy color and the lines. Definitely a sweet ride. H whats? Kidding, I'm still a pup when it comes to the older models.

My new one is green but absolutely looks black until just the right light hits it then you can see the green sheen. cool. Anyway the only issue is a hesitation just above idle. once past that it takes off. The Previous owner cleaned the carbs, filter and ensured no vacuum lines are pinched. I am supposed to pick it up on the 26th. Hoping the hesitation is gone. Has anyone experienced this problem?

I don't have a solution for you on the hesitation issue, but others here probably do... We've got some smart folks in our membership, many of whom are familiar with the mighty ZX-11!! Good luck on your troubleshooting!!
