Question Strator Case Scratch???

So I'm looking at buying a 2010 ZX10r off a guy for $5.9k that has only 800 miles. Overall not a bad bike, but there are a few scratches. The one that worries me is the strator case. Should I be concerned?

If it is not leaking oil, I wouldn't sweat it.

I hate stupid people.

Ask yourself, why low mileage? Why scratches on the cover and frame.
Usually its a sign the bike has been a wreck and off the road for a period of time being fixed.
If the price is significantly lower than other low mileage same year theres a reason.
However nothing wrong with fixed bikes that are repaired correctly.
The fact that scratches are visable says maybe not.
So work out if its much cheaper , enough to overlook damage and check title is clean.
I bought my silver A1 12r with repaired damage for £900 Gbp which is approx less than half normal price.

The damage looks easy to sort on the pic. Retouch the frame and find another cover of repaint it.
Good luck.
If it feels good and its a fantastic deal buy it, if not walk away , there are many more.
