Battery not staying charged

I apologize in advance if there's a thread out there on this topic already, but i have tried to browse through pages to find a similar topic but no luck.
I have a 2007 ZX-10R, (super sweet bike) and ive been having some problems for the last month or so. Recently had the battery charged twice because it died while out riding. Had it charged, parked for 2 days, put the charger on night before (19th), died yesterday (20th). red blinking light came on along with F1 or FI, couldnt tell whether it was a I or 1. But im at a loss here, someone told me it might be a stator, another said battery was bad but when i took it to a parts dealer they said it was good. I havent tried testing with a volt meter, but i was asking for suggestions, about to leave for college.

Look up Ricks electrics on his web site or the u tube..
He has some good step by step vids on trouble shooting your charging system

Thanks jhinderliter! It's probably going to be a winter project now, but if I can get it done asap I will. Thanks for your help!

Honestly just try a new battery. You will probably need one anyway now that your current one has been drained and recharged several times. Id start with that. Batteries in sportbikes are Notorious for going bad for no good reason. I've had plenty that I swore no way could be the batt and ended being just that. Good luck!
