With a motor based on the venerable ZX-9R, that bike is bound to be a very pleasing ride!!

Yeah, we found one on Ebay (same shop as Outsider picked up his new rear cowl and it was completely beat to hell (IMO unfixable) and the guy wanted $55 + shipping.

I need to change careers!

For the price of a different tank, I can live with the one I have. The bike is supposed to be a "street fighter", and what fighter doesn't have a few battle scars? Gives the bike character in my opinion!

Lash, basically they are slip-ons that connect to the factory header. I love the sound that it has. It still sounds like an in-line but has a nice deep tone to it.

The only way I will even think about changing exhaust is if something happens and I have to, then I will look for a 4-1 off a ZX9R.

Description TANK-COMP-FUEL,BLACK
Price $843.36

Maybe I'm just numb to this stuff, but the price doesn't seem out of line to me. Pretty much any tank, new or aftermarket, is in that range. Since it is painted, it is going to be a little more.

The pictured tank looks very repairable to me.

If the replacement tank costs frikkin' $900.00, that would certainly be my solution of choice!!
