I used to like the Vulcans, before they became Hardley clones, and that goes for most all the cruisers, Shadows, Viragos, etc.

I have no idea on the MPG. I sold the beast about 3 weeks ago. I decided I would not ride it enough and somebody gave me an offer I could not refuse for a 10 year old bike. The Vulcan was a gift so I was not really attached to it at all. Now I have room in my garage for the trailer I am putting together.
