I've been riding my KRR150ZX for awhile now here in Japan. There's only 10 that has been imported here and parts are unavailable. You gotta order them from Thailand/Phillipines/Singapore. Searching is a bit hard unless you can speak the language. The picture that the admin guy posted (the extremely large photo) is the exact model of mine and same color too. If you want shorter barends..the 250ninja fit..not perfect but good enough and they help me cut through traffic better. I usually blow by traffic at about 80-110kpm down the middle. I've drag raced and raced through traffic a brand new 250ninja and they don't stand a chance. Once you hit powerband in first, they're done. With any bike, learn when it's better for your machine to shift. I've owned ducati monsters and even cruisers but this is the most fun bike to ride.

BTW... CHANGE stock tires! the IRC tires are horrible for any kind of traction. Almost any other brand is better. I run dunlops on mine.

Got it, change tires. The stocks feel a bit slippy. As for exhausts, I've seen custom fittings of Yoshimura's on this bike, but t feels as though they're for the 250 ninja's. True enough, this bike really is a fun ride.

They're super slippery and that's not good. I get cars every now and then that want to cut me off from riding the center and momma always said wearing good rubbers can save you from getting sores. For $10/800Yen more you can get extremely better tires.

As for pipes, I'm looking for one myself and if I get a good answer from the 20-something shops I'm emailing, I'll post it here. Also lookin for rearsets too.

Note: some models of KRR's speedo is off. It's a notorious problem. For some reason, mine is right on the nose.

IMPORTANT: don't use cheap grade 2Cycle oil! Use at the bare minimum something equivilant to the Honda 2Cycle engine oil or better. REASON: If you use ultra cheap quality 2Cycle oil, your KIPS system gets clogged and you are no longer using KIPS technology because the reeds will get stuck. Same with using crappy gear oil too. Your gears will break down faster and you'll be prone to problems in your gearbox.

Greetings to all kr150 lovers, i'm one of the few lucky owners of this limited bike here in the Philippines. My bike is actually my second kr, the first one was sold three years ago which i regretted. The second one was purchased June09 for 75,000 pesos and almost in mint condition and with only 2,500kms under its belt. Similarly my first kr was sold for the same price as the second one but with 32,000kms. When i got the bike it was full of stickers that didn't go with it which was an eye sore so i immediately removed them, cleaned the bike, changed the oil and spark plug and did some touch-up with my airbrush.

I'll be ordering a set of exhaust chambers from tyga-performance probably in the next few weeks. Right now my bike is equipped with an OKO 30mm slide carb. The jetting were changed to a much larger set cause the stock pilot jet is to lean but the main is just right. The carb performed well and in fact its more economical than the stock keihin 28mm. With regards to spare parts we're also having problems with availability but somehow we can still order directly from kawasaki plant but may take some time to arrive.

cheers..

Whoa!~ Its been awhile! I think I know my bike a lil better. So many people have joined the forum just fer the SuperKIPS! I still have yet to take pics of my stock bike. Oh, I brought it out on the MEX Highway from Putrajaya headed towards Petaling Jaya at a whopping 195km/h. This bike does NOT disappoint.

Still broke concerning proper mods; but a paintjob, brake and exhaust system should be coming soon! Will post before and after pics when I get the chance. Hey, if anyone wants to meet up for a ride send a msg to me gmail?

Would love to get to know other KIPS riders. I met a fellow KIPS rider at a traffic light near Kelana Jaya once. Friendly yeh? Anyways, do hit me up if anyone wants to meet up!

I'm sure some models are shipped to the U.S! Hard to find, I know. Like here for exampe... They don't sell Megelli's here but somehow or other a few models get in. So keep your hopes up! You might be in for a treat!
