Kissing the tarmac at Santa pod raceway UK

After an earlier run of 9.26 @147 my final run of the day never went to plan.

Back again next season.

Yes thanks. Broken collar bone ..
and bike lol. However I came first in the days competition with my earlier 9.26 :-)
Great help from the staff at Santa Pod and the helmet, leathers and boots did a great job too :-)
The kick in the balls was driving home and breaking down and hanging around for four hours for a recovery truck at the roadside in Northants.

Great shame ,hope you recover quick ?
it looks like you had massive wheel spin , and then it flicked out on you ?
was it wet ?
9.26 is very good ,top marks !!

That sucks man, breaking down on way home adds insult to injury. Good luck getting it all back together for next season!

Thanks :-)
No the smoke is the tyre on locked engine .
Its a big skid combined with engine letting go :-)
Track is dry.
When rear locks its like being on Ice :-)

Ive got to have a plate screwed in at the hospital next few days.
The bike needs a bit more I should guess.
Hoping to get it back from the track next week :-)

Ouch. I make those implantable plates an screws for a living, it's no fun having them installed into yourself. Good luck with it hope all goes well...
