trying to install this thing and i have two problems..... 1. instruction say i should have .100 - .125 clearance for the arms...i have .140 2. it came with a round machined piece, that i don't know where it goes...its round, about 2inches long and machined with 3 threaded holes on one side. looks like a bearing but i don't know where it goes. any help is appreciated, |

.140 is fine. I had the same issue after speaking with the MTC rep, I was told that it's "OK". Mine is set at .140 as well and I've had no issues with the clutch, even at 200+mph.

You need to talk to NOX on Bikeland - News, reviews, and discussion on ZX14, ZX10R, other motorcycles to adjust the clearance to where its supposed to be you need to adjust the stack height. play with thick and thin steels till you get it right. I have the 2 stage, so im not sure what piece you are talking about. there is a bearing in your cover right? pictures would help
