To you guys running a ton of gear in your bike, after multiple attempts at launching my bike with a 17/48 combo, im going back to the lazy 17/46 gear, me and two other riders, one of which is a 140 lbs drag racer, had all kinds of trouble launching the bike, it would leave ok, and about 6500 the bike would go skyward, and it was all over, so we will see on friday what i will run with this set up. p.s, whats the most gear you guys have seen someone run with a stock arm. |

I run 17-50 stock arm with nos, bmc's, yosh, lowered 1.5 inches, no strap. Hard to launch, had better times with 17-46 on nos. Wheelie at launch, then spin on the nos in 2nd and third. Actually hurt my times, I will be going back myself before maxton.

I've done 17/46 on spray. Seemed right. I have 17/47 now but the 1/4 race I was gonna go to got rained out. Only rode it around for a few minutes. Seems similar to 17/46 obviously. A. | |
