Fuel delivery problem.

Check your carbs. Tear them down and clean them up (if you know what you're doing, you can take them completely down, removing all plastic and rubber seals and washers and gaskets and dip them in a carb cleaner can that you can buy at any auto store for like 20-30 bucks).

Sounds to me like a float/float needle issue....

I have a cousin with an old moped with a cork float in it...a 78 Puch 2 speed MK2...little tiny pieces come off the float from time to time and plug the main/pilot jets which required teardown every 100 miles or so....we found a replacement for the cork...........solved the problem. His moped did exactly this when that would happen. Run great then suddenly start stumbling and then eventually was a bitch to start....

I laughed when I finally figured it out. It would run after sitting cause the cork chunks would dissolve or fall out of the jet and then would get sucked back up in again starting it all over........

Send a message via Yahoo to ZXLNT
Also check the ignition coil to make sure its not losing spark when it gets hot. Coils will work when cold at times then get weak when hot.
