| Headwork and 1270 kit
I am trying to get some feedback on something I'm trying to figure out, I have A-1 model with a 1270. I've been running it for about four years with a dry shot, I'm thinking about getting headwork, cams and a valve job (should I go with bigger valves?). Any combinations that anybody has put together with HP and Torq that have worked out well would be greatly appreciated the bike went 8.83 with a 160 pound rider, that's not fast enough I want somemore and also does anybody know how much HP stock rods can handle before you have to start worrying, I've heard 300 HP is that true. later kawitom, trying to figure out my winter project,.

I dont know about valve size but i do know that a guy from sweden has a 1427 stroker that he has raced for several seasons on stock rods. donty know how much power it makes but i have seen him go 5.5@135mph at the 1/8 on motor, regular hand clutch and 59.8 inches wheelbase ![]() dont know how much power it has but it seems the stock rods can handle some power |

Sal sells track results, not dyno numbers. So if your looking for big hp/tq numbers, he's not your guy. If you're looking to mop the floor with the guys sporting big dyno numbers at the track, give him a call. No bullshit, Sal builds the fastest 12's in the country and has proved it over and over at the track. Aceperformance.com | |
